Update on Hair

So…

For the Project 31: Day 4.  Style 31.  Post a pic of you in your favorite outfit.

So here it is… Well It’s not exactly my favorite outfit.. My fav outfit would be probably these jeans and a tank and some flipflops… but this is as good as I can do when is 4deg. Outside!!  

This shirt is by R23. I got it for Christmas from C28.com. This is my all time favorite t-shirt! And I am not a big t-shirt girl… its either long sleeves or tanks 90% for me… but this one rocks!!!  The jeans are Refuge. I got them at Charlotte Russe a year ago. The zippers broke on them, but they fit sooooo good. And Charlotte Russe no longer carries this brand. So. I will wear these until I can’t. lol.

The boots I just got this year from Payless. They are Airwalks. Ain’t they cute?!

My Hair:

Ugh. I dunno. I feel like I have a mullet… I’m gonna give it a week and see if I start to like it more… if not, than I may go cut some more off of it… hey it’ll grow back right?! J

change is in the... hair...

Well today all my thoughts have been on cutting my hair. I dunno if it’s just the time of the month and I am getting cabin fever with all this frigging snow we have been getting or what the deal is. But I am so ready for a change in my look. Something drasticly different… yet I am scared to cut my hair too short.. I like being able to throw my hair up into a pony tale on the days I am lazy and don’t feel like washing or styling. J

So these are the do’s I have chosen so far… as for color.. well that is yet to be determined. I have black color at home… so I am 99% sure it will be black by the weekend either way… but not sure if I’ll do any  blond in there too… I guess we shall see.. but I do need to get that part figured out before I do the black.. otherwise I’ll have to wait another couple months before I can go blonde so I don’t completely ruin my hair!

Anywho- I will post pics of my finished product! J

We are supposed to be getting phase two of this wonderful winter storm.  Schools were closed today though I am not really sure why as the streets were fine.. but oh well.. Tonight we are supposed to get like an inch of ice.. so that should be fun… Probably another snowday tomorrow… and the kiddos will probably be going to work with me! yay! (NOT) 

And tomorrow, I am supposed to be taking Edward to the vet… His tail is still bleeding off and on… We’ve bandaged it up… and when it finally comes off its fine for a day or two… and then boom.. there’s blood splattered everywhere!! I’ve even tried that New Skin liquid bandage stuff… and it works, but again only for so long… So hopefully the vet will have some better solutions for him! I feel bad.. and I know it hurts him too. He yelps every time he knocks it up against something… maybe I just need to get it docked. L

Project 31- Day 3

Day 3.  Who is someone you know who inspires beauty?

The first people that come to mind with this question is my kids.  They inspire me to be beautiful. Not just physically but spiritually.  They are the reason I can go on each and every day.  They help me to see the beauty in life and especially in love.

Someone that inspires me also, though I have never met is Sonya. Some how we have became friends on facebook but still for the life of me, I have no idea how.  I follow her blog.  Everyday she has something wonderful posted on her facebook status. I hope that oneday I can be that optimistic and that spiritual J

Another set of people is my family- my parents and especially my brother.  My brother is mentally handicapped.  He is 17 years older than me but has the mindset of between a 3-7yr old and the body of 45yr old. I love him dearly.

I think the biggest inspiration I have though is my love for Christ. Because of this love and the knowledge of His love for me, I am able to see the beauty in everything.  From the snow falling, to the ants crawling across my kitchen floor, to the gentle breeze… Its all beautiful.  J

Realization Friday

Its Friday ya’ll… you know what that means…

Its realization time… these are things that have been realized by myself and other’s throughout the week J

I’ve Come To Realize:

~ Life sucks.

~ God works in great ways and has things happen just at the right time.

~ Sometimes things are not always as  bad as you think they are.

~ And sometimes they are.

~ Facebook is for losers who have nothing else better to with their time.

~ Algebra can be so overwhelming, especially when you teacher goes way to fast!!!

~ God is wonderful!

Project 31- Day 2

Day 2.  What makes you uniquely you?

This is a hard one. What makes me, me???  ME and the LORD!!  Lol. 

I think I am different than most people because of my brain and my heart.  As you probably know from my blog, I overthink. Everything.  And honestly 90% I do love this about myself though that other 10% about drives me insane, but hey it gives me something great to blog about normally!! Lol. 

The other part is my heart.  I love whole heartedly so I am easily hurt.  I forgive people I probably should and remain friends even after being betrayed.  I am opened minded enough to be friends with just about everyone, even ex’s, ex’s ex’s or even current bf’s ex’s.  I can’t just love a little. I love a lot.  

God made us all special and it takes a big heart, an open mind, and wide eyes to be able to see it all.  I like to think I have all 3.

Day 1.  What does beauty mean to you?

HHHmmmm… what does beauty mean to me?!

Beauty is a sunset or a sunrise.

Beauty is a flower swaying in the breeze.

Beauty is a child running up just to say “I love you mommy”

Beauty is a friend always being there just when you need them to be.

Beauty is a truth and honesty.

Beauty is a warm bubble bath, a good book, and a glass of wine.

Beauty is a kind, loving personality.

Beauty is being faithful, whole heart and soul.

Beauty is praying.

Beauty is storm clouds rolling in.

Beauty is a dog licking your cheek.

Beauty is a skinned knee and being there to kiss it and make it all better.

Beauty is snuggling up with my kiddos and watching a great movie

Beauty is sitting on the couch with my kiddos reading the bible.

Beauty is realizing that God made everything beautiful.

Beauty is seeing that beauty in everything.

Beauty is being hurt and lonely.

Beauty is knowing that God is always with you, even when you are hurt and lonely.

Beauty is knowing that God knew us before we were even conceived.

Beauty is love.

Beauty is more than what we see but what we feel and who we are.

Beauty is loving the Lord.
